Application
- These rental conditions apply to reservations and agreements regarding the holiday apartment ‘Bon Bida Piscadera’ in Curacao, Koredo George L. Hueck 39-17, Piscadera in Curaçao
- In these rental conditions, the term ‘tenant’ is defined as: the person who concludes a rental agreement with us regarding the rental of the holiday apartment
- Agreements deviating from these general terms and conditions are only valid if agreed in writing.
Article 1 – Reservations
- We only accept reservations from persons who are 18 years or older. Reservations by persons under that age are also not valid. We reserve the right to refuse a reservation at any time – without giving reasons.
- After you have made a reservation, you will receive a confirmation, the general (rental) conditions and an invoice from us within five working days.
- We request that you check these documents for accuracy and inform us immediately of any inaccuracies.
- An agreement is concluded between you and us when we confirm the reservation to you. The agreement concerns the rental of the holiday apartment for recreational use, which by its nature is short-term.
Article 2 – Payment
The following conditions apply to payment:
- Payments must be made by cashless means;
- You must pay the deposit of 25% of the rental price (including deposit, cleaning costs, tourist tax) within 1 week after the invoice date. The remaining invoice amount (including any additional reservations) of 75% must be paid six weeks before the arrival date.
- If your reservation is made within six weeks before the arrival date, you must immediately transfer 100% of the invoice amount to us upon receipt of the invoice.
- Payments must be made by transfer to NL46 ABNA 0504 3520 08. M. van der Werf and stating the invoice number.
- By making the (down) payment or the entire rental amount, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the rental conditions. The rental ends by operation of law after the agreed period has expired.
- If payment is not made on time, as described under 1. of this article, you will be in default immediately after the payment term has expired. In that case we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and terminate the agreement.
- The rental price does not include cleaning (intermediate cleaning EUR 75 per every 10 nights and final cleaning per stay EUR 125)
- The use of water and electricity will be deducted from the deposit. To calculate the costs, the current commercial rates of aqualectra We kindly ask you to use this sparingly.
Article 3 – Deposit
- The tenant will be charged a deposit of €350.00, which serves to guarantee damage and/or costs in the broadest sense of the word that we can withhold in the event of non-compliance with the tenant’s obligations. as a good tenant and those accompanying the tenant. For stays longer than 21 days, double the deposit will be charged.
- The deposit or any remainder thereof, after settlement of the water and electricity consumption costs and any claims (e.g. damage to inventory/apartment), will be refunded within 14 days after departure to the same account from which Bon Bida Piscadera also pays the rent. received.
- If in the event of (any) damage or loss it turns out that the deposit is insufficient to compensate the full damage, we reserve the right to hold you liable for the (remaining) damage. This also applies to exceeding the costs for water and electricity use.
Article 4 – Cancellation
Cancellation by the tenant must always be made in writing (by e-mail). The following conditions apply:
- If canceled 6 to 4 weeks before the day of arrival, the deposit is due
- If canceled 4 to 2 weeks before the day of arrival, 50% of the full rental price is due
- If canceled 2 weeks before the day of arrival, 100% of the full rental amount is due
Article 5 – Stay in the holiday home
- Check-in time from 3 p.m.
- Check-out time until 11am
- If there is no subsequent reservation, check-out can also take place later. This must be discussed with the manager 24 hours before the initial check-out time
- The tenant and other users must behave as a good tenant during their stay in and around the house. The following house rules must be adhered to.
House rules:
- Park your car within the lines in your parking space, take each other into account
- Towels, laundry, bedding and other items may not hang over the balustrade
- Respect the pool rules; These rules can be found at the door to the pool deck
- Close garbage bags properly and then put them in the garbage container in the garage
- Be careful not to damage anything in the stairwell and elevators. Keep this & the pool deck clean!
- Do not cause (noise) nuisance to your neighbors. People live here. And we live outside a lot, so keep that in mind
- Smoking in the stairwell, elevators, garage is prohibited
- Safety above all: always close the doors (garage lift at -1, entrance at 0)
- Do not throw wipes, pampers, etc. in the toilet
- Pets are not allowed
- Stay of more people in the apartment than agreed (when booking), or the applicable maximum of four people, is expressly not permitted without our permission, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Parties are also prohibited. This may lead to premature termination of the rental agreement on our part, without refund of the rental fees.
- Moving cupboards and beds, as well as sound or television equipment or taking any part of the (indoor) inventory outside is expressly not permitted, with the exception of the crockery/glasses and cutlery for your meal outside
Article 6 – Force majeure
Force majeure on our part exists if the execution of the agreement is prevented in whole or in part, temporarily or otherwise, by circumstances beyond our control included personnel strikes, blockades, fire, floods and other disruptions or events.
Article 7 – Liability/complaints/damage
- During the relevant rental period, the tenant and other users are fully and severally liable for all damage caused to the house, the inventory and all items belonging to the rented object, unless the tenant and other users can demonstrate that the damage cannot be attributed to them. We therefore recommend that you carefully inspect the inventory for defects upon arrival at the apartment and if you notice any damage or defects, please report this immediately to the manager.
- We accept no liability for theft, loss or damage of or to property or persons, of any nature whatsoever, during or as a result of the stay in the holiday villa.
- We accept no liability for construction activities on (main) roads, etc. in the area. We accept no liability in the event of failure or deactivation of technical equipment, utilities, non-functioning or partial non-functioning of the internet and/or TV.
- The costs of normal maintenance and repair of defects are at our expense. If any defects occur, the tenant must immediately inform the manager and follow the instructions as much as possible.
- If you still wish to file a complaint, it must be submitted to us in writing and with reasons within 14 days after leaving the apartment.
Article 8 – Departure and final cleaning
If the holiday apartment is used incorrectly or left behind incorrectly, additional (cleaning) costs may be charged to the tenant;
- After the end of the stay period, the tenant must:

- Leave the house (broom) clean and tidy
- Everything was washed clean, dried and put back in the cupboard
- Emptyed rubbish bins and deposited closed bags in the containers in the garage
- Report any breakages and/or damage to the manager
